EMPOWERMENT
We support local businesses that are looking after natural resources and enabling enterprise that supports sustainable community development and looks after the environment.

HERDS FOR GROWTH
Strengthening the Community Livestock Enterprise, improving the breeding and market access for the landowners of the Enonkishu Conservancy, who are part of a regenerative grazing program, making space for wildlife and livestock.

BEE - KEEEPING
This support includes buying beehives so we can enable local entrepreneurs to sell honey to our lodges or private partners. Bees are vital to the ecosystem in pollination so supporting our local beekeepers is also supporting our biodiversity.

SOAP & CANDLE MAKING
With this initiative we are encouraging women’s empowerment through enterprise development. We are raising funding to train our women’s group to learn about soap making to be able to supply high quality soaps from natural local products for the lodges and private partners. The soaps and candle-making programme provides women with a reliable, low-impact source of income that reduces reliance on environmentally damaging activities, such as cutting trees for charcoal or over-harvesting natural resources. By offering practical, home-based livelihoods linked to conservation and ethical markets, the programme protects forests, supports household incomes, and enables women to contribute directly to environmental stewardship and long-term sustainability.

BEADING
Beading is both a cultural practice and a practical economic tool.
For generations, beadwork has been a way for women to express identity, storytelling, and status. Women in the Wild builds on this tradition—not by changing it, but by strengthening it as a sustainable livelihood.
