WATER

Improving access to clean water is one of the most crucial and quickest ways to support our community. It reduces illness and allows girls to go to school instead of bearing the responsibility of fetching their family’s water.

Constant support is needed for the community of Emarti by installing hand pumps, boreholes, wells, pipes, hand-washing stations, rain catchment systems and latrines, in order to see these communities rise up and thrive.

WASHING STATIONS

Constructing washing stations for the community of Emarti will help many of the women in the village.  They will no longer have to walk for up to 5 km to collect water or to wash their family's clothes by the river.
